Madrona Scrip
The school fundraising program that works while you shop
Script means "substitute money," but in this case think of it as a gift card that can be used at many popular retailers. Bottom line: You earn Madrona crucial funds just by purchasing stuff you already are going to buy!
How it works
Madrona buys gift cards at a discount (2% - 15%), either directly from the retailer or from a national scrip broker. You buy the cards at face value (what you normally would pay - dollar for dollar) and the school gets to keep the difference to fund many of Madrona's activities and to purchase supplies for students and teachers.
Where to buy
- On site. At the scrip table located in front of the main office (most times) between 8:50AM and 9:20AM. (Download an order form here - Word .document - or the Excell spreadsheet here.)
- Online. Click here to access the Online store, which takes all credit cards - payments processed by PayPal.

Albertsons just added! QFC, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Top Foods, Barnes & Noble, Claire's Earrings, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, JC Penney’s, Macy's, and Office Max. Scroll down the box to the right for the complete list of participants.
