Instead of sending home order forms or books with kids, we are doing this as an "office sale". Call your classroom coordinator, Kim Magaña (425-431-2911) or Linda Hood (425-879-6458), or stop by the Main Office to purchase a book. Or order online from this website, and we'll send a book home with your child.

BEAR SCARE WEB COVERAGE
The Web site team launched a new level of coverage for this year’s Bear Scare. You may have seen us among the ghouls, ghosts and games with cameras and video equipment. Several videos have been edited and posted, and there is also a photo slide show now available. If you have any photos of your favorite goblin and would like to add to our coverage you can e-mail them to info@madronabearfacts.com.
THE MADRONA COMMUNITY ROCKS!
What a terrific Bear Scare! We had 500 trick or treaters! Add the parents and the middle school volunteers, and I estimate we had about 900 in total attendance. Fun was had by all. I lost track of the tons of toys and candy. They were all gone by the end of the evening. Same with the cookies and the cupcakes. And all of this was made possible because of the Madrona Community. Special thanks to ASB and ASB advisors Craig Baldwin, Brad Proffitt, and BJ Stevenson. Thank you to chairpersons, Connie Blevins (Cupcake Walk), Susan Christian (Pizza), Sarah DeMun (Tattoos), Sandy and Rex Goulding (Games), Linda Hood (Tickets/Admissions), Holly Keith(Candy Decorations), Lorna Miller (Candy Decorations), and April Zepeda (Cookie Decorations). Last but not least to the many parent volunteers--thank you for volunteering your time and/or making donations to this event. We made our goal, which was to make enough money to cover the costs for next years’ Bear Scare. It has always been a great joy and heart-warming experience for me to coordinate this event. Have a Happy and Safe Halloween!-Felicia Seubert~Bear Scare Coordinator
