ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS ON SALE NOW!
Buy an Entertainment Book for only $25 and help support arts education at Madrona. Take advantage of just a couple of coupon offers in the book, for groceries at TOP or Safeway (use scrip!), and the book has paid for itself. Instead of sending home order forms or books with kids, we are doing this as an "office sale". Call your classroom coordinator, Kim Magaña (425-431-2911) or Linda Hood (425-879-6458), or stop by the Main Office to purchase a book. Or order from this website, and we'll send a book home with your child.

MIDDLE SCHOOL FAIR TRADE FUNDRAISER
Orders will be delivered to Madrona THIS FRIDAY and students can pick up their orders in Brad Proffitt's room at the end of the school day. Market Street Traders experienced a delay with two of their most popular
items, but both are expected to arrive in time for their Friday delivery. Thank you again for everyone who supported Middle School and Fair Trade!
SAFETY TIP FOR THE WEEK
Back seat of your vehicle is always safer for your kiddos under 13. The Safety Board recommends that children under age 13 should be in the back seat when a back seat is available. The reason why is that given that frontal collisions remain the most common type of crash (with the back seat therefore the farthest seating position from the point of impact), children under age 13 are safer if they ride in back.
COMMITTEE CHAIR NEEDED FOR TALENT SHOW
At the last Coffee Hour a parent proposed creating an alternative venue for children who would like to take part in a school wide performance but for whom the rehearsal schedule and demands of the annual musical were too intense. Please contact empathic_negotiation@hotmail.com if you are interested in chairing a committee to put on a school Talent Show. People are available to help you, however someone is needed to organize it. Thanks!
ASB NEWS!
"Give with both hands” canned food drive is Nov. 5-21. We are hoping that each and every Madrona student can bring in 2 cans of food to give to our local food bank. We encourage centers and advisories to challenge each other. Middle school dances are slated for Dec. 4, Feb. 12 and June 12. “Coins for Kids” fund raiser will occur Jan. 6-16. Start saving your change to give to those in greatest need.
