The next MIT meeting is Tuesday, October 16th at 7pm in the library. Come and hear about Bear Scare, elections, and the Madrona Children’s Theater plans for the year.
BARNES AND NOBLE BOOK FAIR
Mark your calendars now! It’s Book Fair time!!! This fall we will be having our book fair at Barnes and Noble Alderwood On November 15th. This has become a very fun filled evening with activities and shopping combined! In previous years we have been able to earn at least a $1000 profit. This adds up to many, many new books for our school library. Thank you so much for your continued support. See you there on November 15th!
SCRIP NEWS
The scrip table will be open tomorrow (Thursday, October 11) since we do not have school on Friday of this week. Please stop by and pick up your scrip before the weekend. Also, don’t forget to get your Barnes and Noble scrip before the Book Fair on the 15th!
CARNIVAL CHAIRPERSON STILL NEEDED!
Last chance to sign up to chair this exciting event! Please call Kim Magana at 425-431-2911 to volunteer.
BEAR SCARE NEWS!
I just recently went to Target and as soon as you walk in - the smell of chocolate hits you! So, when you go shopping for Halloween candy please consider donating a bag of individually wrapped candy for Bear Scare. We can also use donations of M&M’s, candy corn and sprinkles for the cookie craft. All donations can be dropped off in a donation bin in the family room. It is still too early for cupcake donations for the cupcake walk but please keep your eyes open for a future flyer. I am extremely grateful to all the parents who have volunteered so far but I can still use more! Please call me at (425) 745-9845 or check out this week’s Mythbuster flyer to see how you can volunteer! Thank you Madrona Parents! - Felicia Seubert, Bear Scare Coordinator.
