SCRIP NEWS
Do you need ideas for the quickly approaching gift giving season? If so, gift cards from the Madrona Scrip program are the perfect gift. Always the right price, size and color! We carry a large selection of vendors in stock including restaurants, theaters, retail stores, grocery stores, and many others. Remember to give cards to everyone on your list including the babysitter, teachers, kids, mom, dad, grandma and grandpa.
A scrip order will be in the Wednesday mail with a few gift ideas. The scrip table will be open every morning beginning Monday, Nov. 26 until Winter Break for your holiday shopping! Or you can order on-line at the Bearfacts website! Look for a holiday drawing beginning December 3rd - more about this next week! Contact Linda Park at (425) 672-9485 if you have any questions.

INTERNET AND YOUR CHILD CLASS
Are you interested in learning more about the Internet? If you are, please contact Ellen Ernst at eernst60@aol.com ASAP. We want to get a list of interested parents/guardians, then we will discuss possible dates. Officer Aaron Greenmun of the Edmonds PD is a certified teacher of this curriculum, and is willing to work with us to find a suitable date. This is an 8 hour class and (just in case you were wondering) it cannot be taught at Madrona due to the need for unfiltered Internet connections. The class will most likely be held on a Saturday at a local Community College.
TRICK OR TREAT FOR UNICEF A SUCCESS!!!!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Madrona's Trick or Treat for UNICEF program this year. We were able to reach and BEAT our goal by raising $675.00 this year. Your contributions and compassion in giving has made a difference in the lives of children around the world. Remember how much you have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Thank you for all of your efforts. Deborah Binder and Jai Veilleux, 2007 Trick or Treat for UNICEF Delegates.
