Monthly Coffee and Conversation with Lynda & Craig
Beginning in January, Lynda and Craig will host one informal coffee hour for parents to chat about school life. No agenda or presentations, just informal conversation. We will have the first one on Friday, January 18th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the library. We’ll have coffee and some treats and make ourselves available to talk about whatever is on your mind. We plan to do this monthly if we have people interested in joining us. Mark your calendar if you’d like to chat!
SCRIP NEWS
Thursday is the final day to pick up any last minute gift cards. Supply is running low so shop early! Also, remember to pick up any order you have either at the scrip table outside the office or with Kelly in the office. The scrip table will be closed on Friday; however, all orders can be picked up in the office!

REDECORATING IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS?
The school library is interested in establishing a middle school reading area, and would love donations of gently-used couches, armchairs and a coffee table. Please call Ann DeVight at 431-2904 to discus her vision and help out!
CONGRATULATIONS NOAH!
Noah Becker, a second grade student in Madrona's Tri Center, wins Week Three of the Photo Contest with his entry "Give Thanks," which is now posted on the Bear Facts Web site home page (www.madronabearfacts.com). Noah writes, “I worked with my mom to make this sign. We all have so much to give. A simple 'Thanks' can be a great thing to do." His photo will be considered for the grand prize picture, which will be revealed Dec. 21 and will remain on the home page through winter break for ultimate bragging rights!
