Thanks so much to everyone who volunteered their time or sent meals during Teacher Appreciation week and Brunch. We really appreciate all of your help and yummy food! A special thanks to Clark Grasher for making all of the delicious desserts! Everyone really enjoyed them! We also would like to thank the Starbucks Barista’s from the downtown Edmonds store and the Westgate store for taking time to come here and make coffee drinks for our teachers! It’s such a great treat!We couldn’t pull off Teacher Appreciation Week without our volunteers so THANK YOU!

LOST AND FOUND ATTENTION PARENTS!
We still have over 80 items in Lost & Found. We only can keep things for 4-6 weeks due to space and then items are donated to charity. The end of the year is almost here and we will be donating EVERYTHING that is left over. It will not be here next year. Please come and look through the lost & found in the cafeteria or have your kids look before the end of the year.We have very nice coats, scarfs, gloves, shoes, slippers. Come find your lost items before it’s too late!!

CHANGE OF START/END TIME FOR SCHOOLS NEXT YEAR
The District has determined that they will save over $200,000 in the transportation budget by standardizing the start and end times of all of the District schools. This means that the elementary schools that have started at 9:10 AM and ended at 3:40 PM will change by ten minutes beginning next school year. Madrona K-8 will start at 9:20 AM and end school at 3:50 PM beginning next fall.See the District Newsletter for adjusted start times for all schools.
