Bear Scare Is Just Six Weeks Away!

Bear Scare BannerIt’s barely six weeks until Halloween, so you know what that means. It’s time to start planning for this year’s Bear Scare!

Bear Scare is Madrona’s biggest party of the year, a MIT-sponsored, Halloween-themed gathering held Friday, Oct. 28, from 6-8 p.m., packed with crazy costumes, spooky decorations, fun games, food, crafts, a cupcake walk, haunted house, and more fun for kids of all ages!

This is one party you don’t want to miss! Be sure to keep an eye on the Notes from the Office and next month’s Bear Facts for volunteer opportunities. And be sure to join us in the MIT room after school on Friday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. (it’s a half day) to share ideas for this year’s Bear Scare — it’s the first ever held off the old Madrona campus, which means there are lots of new wrinkles to plan, and exciting opportunities for new activities!

Start planning those fabulous costumes and spectacular jack-o-lanterns, and we’ll see you at Bear Scare!
