Bear Scare Needs Your Help

flyerThis year’s Bear Scare — Oct. 26, from 6-8 p.m. — is going to be a blast, but we can’t pull it off without YOU!

With barely two weeks to go before Bear Scare, not even half of our necessary volunteer spots have been filled! Volunteers are still needed for half-hour shifts running games, serving pizza, monitoring cookie-decorating and candy crafts tables, checking in pumpkins at the Pumpkin-Carving Contest, overseeing the Cupcake Walk, helping sell tickets, assisting with set-up and clean-up and more! We can’t run all the planned events for the kids without help from volunteers like yourself, so visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4dadac2eabfa7-bear1 and sign up for a 30-minute shift today!

Can’t work at Bear Scare? No problem, you can still help out! In addition to on-site volunteering, Bear Scare relies on donations from Madrona families of small and medium-sized toys and wrapped candies to use as prizes in games, plus small candies that can be used to decorate cookies at the cookie-decorating station. These donations help keep costs down so that MIT can put more money back into our kids! Use the link above to sign up for your contribution and help make this year’s Bear Scare the best one yet!
