Madrona’s spook-tacular fall celebration, Bear Scare, is just one week away! Featuring games, music, pizza, a Haunted House, Pumpkin-Carving Contest, candy crafts, cookie decorating, and fun activities for Madrona bears of all ages — not to mention hundreds of your fellow students decked out in the coolest costumes around — it’s Madrona’s biggest party of the year!
Pre-sales are now available for both tickets and pizza, allowing you to both avoid the lines at Bear Scare, and save money to boot! Tickets are $5 cash/$6 card per child if purchased in advance and $7 cash/$8 card at the door (adults are free), while pizza is $3 for one slice and a drink, $5 for two slices and a drink, or $17 to have a whole pizza ready for you on-site (gluten-free add $2). Don’t stress about dinner; instead, let Bear Scare feed the whole family! Pizza prices increase by $2 after Oct. 25, so get your order in early and save!
Best of all, this year’s pre-order process is easier than ever! For the first time ever, parents can purchase tickets online through the MIT Square Site (https://madrona-integrated-team.square.site/), meaning there’s no need to wait in line, or send money with your kids! Additionally, orders will be accepted on-site before and after school each day starting Oct. 24 — you can even order from your car after school up until the point the final bell rings!
And remember, 100 percent of the Bear Scare proceeds go right back into our students through MIT programs, so supporting Bear Scare isn’t just fun — it helps our school, too!
This year, don’t wait in line at Bear Scare — make plans to pre-order and save!
